What we DO
Supervises, coordinates and administers functions relating to smooth operations and maintenance of CPCD facilities. Responsible for the development and supervision of the Facilities department and classroom maintenance budget including all budget expenditures and revisions. Works with program departments to ensure that classrooms and playgrounds meet all licensing requirements.
Requirements
Preferred:
Certification in project management
Must have critical thinking, problem solving and organizational skills, oral and written communication skills, ability to work under pressure, maintain confidentiality and attention to detail
Experience in a craft or trade area related to building maintenance obtained through on-the-job training and experience, or through apprenticeship, or other formal training programs
Experience leading and supervising a team
Requires interpersonal skills to meet public and work with staff, parents and contractors
Experience with project management tools and processes. Ability to manage multiple priorities
Experience in general construction principles
·Excellent writing skills and working knowledge of computer systems including SharePoint and other Office products
