What we DO
Directs and supervises consolidation of accounting data and preparation of financial statements for management information. Assists CFO in preparing recommendations on future financial plans, forecasts, and policies. Keeps up to date records of all fiscal transactions for CPCD programs in accordance with sound accounting procedures, complying with both federal and state funding guidelines for the administration of the CPCD programs. In the absence of the CFO, assumes responsibility for the Finance Component. Provides direct supervision for the General Ledger Accountant, Accounts Payable Specialist, and Payroll Specialist.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in
Accounting
or
Finance related field
Two years’ experience with federal grants preferred
Light typing and use of calculator. Knowledge of computer and financial software programs
Must maintain the confidentiality of the information they will be handling
Minimum of five (5) years of financial management experience and knowledge of nonprofit financial systems
Must be reliable, organized, accurate and detail-oriented
Must have interpersonal and supervisory skills
