What we DO
Responsible for the development and management of a comprehensive resource development plan in conjunction with the President/CEO with specific long and short range goals; implements the plan to meet the goals.Develops appropriate outcomes for resource development and monitors progress towards meeting those outcomes.Responsible for the development, implementation, and management of a comprehensive recruitment program designed to recruit children/families and volunteers into the program. Plans and/or directs the development and implementation of an external communication plan designed to disseminate information that keeps stakeholders (public and employees) informed of CPCD programs, accomplishments, and points of view. Directs work of subordinates. Serves as a member of the Leadership Council.

or
closely related field
At least three years demonstrated successful experience in resource development and fund raising
Knowledge of policies and practices involved in human resource management.
Knowledge of principles and processes involved in business and organizational planning, coordination, communication, and execution
Ability to maintain the confidentiality of the information which is privileged, private, and/or proprietary
Ability to network and build relationships with individuals, agencies, corporations, and other stakeholders
Knowledge of media production, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
