What we DO
Responsible for the overall financial management system for CPCD. In conjunction with the CPCD Board and the President/CEO, establishes major financial objectives. Responsible for analyzing financial data, forecasting, and making recommendations to CPCD Board and the President/CEO; development and implementation of Financial Management Systems and utilization of general accounting and audit standards; direct the preparation of reports, audits, and statements utilized to provide management with information relative to financial transactions. Develops departmental program budgets in conjunction with the President/CEO, department managers, and the CPCD Board. Assures up to date and accurate records for all fiscal transactions for CPCD programs in accordance with sound accounting and bookkeeping procedures, complying with both federal and state funding guidelines, all funding requirements of CPCD projects, and contract requirements for the administration of the CPCD programs. Responsible for CPCD's Procurement and Inventory management system.
Requirements
Masters in
Business Administration
with an emphasis in
Finance
or
Accounting
Reliable, organized, accurate and detail-oriented
Possess appropriate interpersonal communication and leadership skills
At least three (3) years of Controller experience. Experience in non-profit financial management required. Working knowledge of fund accounting
Knowledge of computer and financial software programs
Strong management experience and skills
Preferred:
Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
Two (2) years of experience with federal grants administration and reporting
