What we DO
The Support Specialist facilitates the effective operation and administrative needs of the Child Development Department and Professional Development Team, through the implementation of systems to include monitoring and tracking essential data. This position is also responsible for all aspects of maintaining classroom laundry, oversite and implementation of childcare events, and the childcare staff. Maintains up-to-date records and documentation in addition to supporting the scheduling of professional development and department functions.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Must be able to maintain the confidentiality of information they will be handling
Able to operate general office machines and technology such as telephone, printer/scanner, Microsoft Office 365 Suite, and audio-visual equipment
Reliable and highly organized, able to work under pressure, and accurate in record-keeping abilities
At least one year of office experience
Interpersonal skills to work professionally and positively with parents, children, and staff
Accurately type 50 WPM, strong organizational skills, ability to work independently, proficient in computer software programs such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Publisher, etc.), and Outlook
