What we DO
Responsible for the goal-setting, planning, coordination and implementation of the Volunteer program (both civic and family) for CPCD. Works with members of Leadership Council to strategically integrate volunteers into all aspects of CPCD's business and to determine organization needs for volunteer services and volunteer placement. Ensures that all aspects of the volunteer program (recruitment, administration, training, recognition and evaluation) adhere to best practices and meet the needs of CPCD's family and civic volunteers and staff.
Requirements
Associate Degree
or
Certification in Volunteer Administration (CVA)
High-level of diplomacy to foster collaboration across cultures, departments, and employees
Must maintain the confidentiality of the information he/she will be handling
5 years experience in Volunteer Management
Demonstrated proficiency in verbal communication, writing, organization and planning, interview techniques, and building interpersonal relationships with the public, staff and volunteers
Demonstrated ability to work with family and civic volunteers
