Provides professional-level support for CPCD’s Community Relations Team. Manages event planning and execution; creates after-event follow-up plans; participates in donor meetings as assigned; coordinates with the development team on events management; takes the lead on community relations projects as assigned; participates in community awareness activities, digital marketing, and department initiatives.

related field
Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field
Knowledge of local philanthropic and business community
Knowledge of database administration
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills to be able to work well in a team environment, with donors, and to handle multiple assignments while meeting deadlines
Two to Four years of relevant work experience
Creativity and flexibility are a must. Ability to think proactively, prioritize and take initiative while meeting deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to maintain the confidentiality of the information, which is privileged, private, and proprietary
Adept at independent research and problem-solving to accomplish activities and tasks
