What we DO

Provides professional-level support ​for CPCD’s Community Relations ​Team. Manages event planning and ​execution; creates after-event ​follow-up plans; participates in ​donor meetings as assigned; ​coordinates with the development ​team on events management; takes ​the lead on community relations ​projects as assigned; participates in ​community awareness activities, ​digital marketing, and department ​initiatives.

Preferred:


Bachelor’s degree ​in ​Communications, ​Business, Liberal ​Arts, or related ​field


Knowledge of local ​philanthropic and ​business ​community


Knowledge of ​database ​administration


Excellent ​interpersonal and ​customer service ​skills to be able to ​work well in a team ​environment, with ​donors, and to ​handle multiple ​assignments while ​meeting deadlines

Two to Four years of relevant work experience

Creativity and ​flexibility are a ​must. Ability to ​think proactively, ​prioritize and take ​initiative while ​meeting deadlines

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to maintain ​the confidentiality ​of the information, ​which is privileged, ​private, and ​proprietary

Adept at independent research and problem-solving to accomplish activities and tasks
