What we DO
Provides professional-level support for CPCD’s Community Relations Team. Manages donor gift tracking and reporting; ensures timely donor acknowledgments and creates stewardship activities; provides support in identification and research of new donors; participates in donor meetings as assigned; coordinates with the development team on events management; takes the lead on community relations projects as assigned; participates in community awareness activities, assists with digital marketing, and department initiatives.
Requirements
Associates degree
or
working towards
in
Communication
Business
Liberal Arts
or
related field
Two-Four years of relevant work experience
Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field
Knowledge of local philanthropic and business community
Knowledge of database administration
Technically savvy in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM Software & social media
Adept at independent research and problem-solving to accomplish activities and tasks while meeting deadlines
Ability to maintain the confidentiality of the information, which is privileged, private, and proprietary
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills to be able to work well in a team environment, with donors, and to handle multiple assignments while meeting deadlines
Creativity and flexibility are a must. Ability to think proactively, prioritize and take initiative
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
