Requirements
A minimum of 36 semester hours of college credits and experience working with families, community resources and people in crisis situations
Candidates without an Associate’s Degree in social work, human services, family services, counseling will commit to completing the Family Development Credential program within 18 months of their date of hire
Knowledge and ability to use various computer software programs (i.e. Microsoft Word, Outlook, etc.)
Preferred:
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in
Social Work
Human Services
Family Services
Counseling
or
Related Field in Human Services
or
equivalent college credits (48 semester hours)
Two or more years experience in working with families and community resources, and working with people in crises situations
or
8 years of successful relevant work experience
