What we DO
Assists assigned teaching staff and/or team members in the implementation of the foundational, social emotional teaching practices based on the Pyramid Approach, Curriculum, and general classroom management. Support is provided through a cooperative approach of setting common goals with measurable outcomes in partnership with CD Supervisor and BHC. This support can include tools, techniques, modeling, and empowering the classroom staff to successfully implement these tools and strategies.

Associates Degree In
Psychology
Counseling
Social Work
Education
or
closely related field
Must have access to reliable transportation to perform functions of the job.
Be well versed in Creative Curriculum, the CLASS assessment, ITERS/ECERS, PDIS, the Pyramid Plus Approach, Teaching Strategies GOLD, DRDP, birth through 5 years old child development, CPCD Policies and Procedures, and Colorado Licensing Rules and Regulations
Possess or immediately obtain Trainer Credential through the Professional Development Information System (PDIS).
At least one year of successful teaching experience with children birth to age five.
