What we DO
All health specialists are responsible for supporting essential tasks in the department to ensure maximum health and wellness for each child. Their duties include reviewing files of each enrolled child, entering data and maintaining documentation, referring children and families in need of services to community agencies, and managing partner contracts for health and dental service providers. Each specialist is expected to perform their individual job duties on a timely basis as per their specific job title for which they were hired
Requirements
High school diploma
or GED
Must be able to form collaborative working relationships with professional community, parents, children, staff and external agencies
Must maintain the confidentiality of the information he/she will be handling
Ability to use computer database and record data accurately
Able to type 50 wpm accurately and have experience operating general office equipment
Must be flexible and have the ability to meet timelines
Able to maintain accurate records
Preferred:
Experience in an office or professional environment.
Bilingual in English/Spanish
