What we DO
This position provides interpretation for monolingual Spanish speaking families within CPCD in various meetings and training settings and provides quality translation for written documents.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Excellent interpersonal skills in working with parents, children, staff, and community members
Job requires being reliable, responsible, and dependable, and fulfilling obligations
Fluency in speaking, reading, and writing Spanish and English
Knowledge of the structure and content of the English and Spanish languages including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar
Ability to organize and maintain accurate records
Interpretation/
translation experience
Must type 40 - 50 WPM accurately and have experience operating office equipment. Knowledge and ability to use various computer software programs such as Microsoft Word, Publisher, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
